Our mission is simple: to make sure every family in our community feels supported, cared for, and remembered — especially during the holiday season.
2nd-Hand / Hand-Me-Down Christmas is a community-driven program based in Conejos County, Colorado, dedicated to helping individuals and families in need throughout the San Luis Valley. Our mission is to collect gently used items and redistribute them to community members of all ages — from newborns to elders.

Sports equipment
Household items
Any gently used item that can still be useful to a family
All donated items are cleaned, sorted, and organized as if in a second-hand boutique, allowing families to “shop” with dignity at no cost. While we normally set up a physical location for families to choose items themselves, this year we will create personalized boxes based on each person’s list due to limited space.
We collect donations from all areas of the San Luis Valley, ensuring accessibility for as many families as possible. Our team also responds to emergency situations when available items may help a family in crisis.
